Leave a Legacy
In the coming years Age Concern Preston and South Ribble will be
needed more than ever as the number of older people in the population rises.
Older people’s lives could be transformed by you remembering Age Concern Preston
and South Ribble in your Will.
That certainly happened when Dennis Winterbottom
left £26,180 to the charity. This legacy funded the Information and Advice team
who were able to assist 502 people with benefit claims providing them with
£153,084 of income.
People obviously want to make sure their families and those near and dear to
them are looked after first, but making a charitable gift of what remains – a
“residuary legacy” can make a huge difference. Others may choose to leave a
specific sum of money – a “pecuniary legacy”.
As Wills are legally binging documents we suggest that you take advice to ensure
