Home Support Service

The Home Support Service is available to anyone over the age of 65, who has
had an accident or injury or has received medical treatment which has left
them temporarily incapacitated. The aim of the service is to prevent admission or re-admission into hospital by keeping you as independent as possible; this also includes helping you regain your independence, confidence or motivation. We can offer support for a couple of weeks depending on your needs. The types of support we can offer you are: * Emotional support or companionship * Making phone calls * Arranging medical or other appointments * Shopping * Making a snack * Carer support * Only limited domestic help We are unable to provide: * A cleaning service, gardening, personal care or long term support If you wish to use this service or would like further information, please contact us on 01772 552859 (Preston) or 01772 552870 (South Ribble).
