You are an important person to us. At Age Concern Preston and South Ribble
we promise to help you to get the most out of your voluntary work by: Giving you support and training enabling you to • know clearly what you are expected to do • receive advice and information on how to do your work • have someone to talk to and report to about your work • let you know that your contribution is greatly valued Training All volunteers will be given relevant and appropriate training for their role. Your specific individual needs will be discussed with you by your Line Manager. If you would like to discuss training please do so. Ongoing Support You may expect regular reviews with your Line Manager to inform you of any changes to services or your tasks and to identify any training needs. You may use this opportunity to raise any issues or concerns that you have over your role as a volunteer. Induction All volunteers must attend an Introduction to Age Concern with the Volunteer Co-ordinator, to see the whole organisation and see examples of the diversity of the services we provide. Interactive Newsletter Our bimonthly newsletter The Arkwright Flyer is a wealth of useful information, it contains organisational changes and information, past, current and future events.
