‘Age Concern Central Lancashire has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Selnet Enterprise in Society Awards 2017 in the categories of Social Enterprise of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.  The awards take place at Mytton Fold Hotel in Blackburn on the 28th April.  In a statement Linda Chivers Chief Executive at Age Concern Central Lancashire said ‘We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted in two categories.  In today’s challenging environment it is immensely gratifying to see the impact that our services and activities have on local people.  None of this could be achieved though without the passion and commitment of our staff and volunteers. ’  Please keep an eye on the website and our social media channels for more information.
