In celebration of Volunteers Week, and to thank our volunteers for their support to Age Concern Central Lancashire, a fun-filled thank-you party was held at Lostock Hall Friendship Club on Friday 2nd June 2017.  As part of the celebrations, a music performance, raffle and fun activity stalls, including ‘Name the Teddy’, and a tombola were enjoyed by 48 of our volunteers, as well as an opportunity to chat over a lovely cream tea.  A huge thanks to all our wonderful volunteers, who during 2016/17 volunteered an amazing 35,742 hours for the charity.  The time and effort that our volunteers give is truly inspiring and helps to support older people to live life and age well.  Your volunteering support is very much appreciated.
