On the 2nd March our new shop opens at 74 Market Street, Chorley and our Retail Team is currently beavering away getting the shop ready for its launch.  We're branding the outside, re-fitting the inside and getting the stock ready for sale.  Our new Chorley team is taking shape and we're currently on the lookout for volunteers.

If you're interested in volunteering at the shop or know someone who might, then please contact our Volunteer Manager via 01772 552865.

Yet again Age Concern's Lostock Hall Friendship Club on Lourdes Avenue is blazing the food hygiene trail after being awarded the maximum 5 star Food Standards Agency rating!

As with every successful recipe Lostock Hall has a cracking blend of staff and volunteers alike who pulled their tripe out to achieve the perfect end result.

Mary Purdy (looking resplendent in green) stated we're always striving to mix it with the best and to set the standard locally in helping people to live and age well and to ensure that folk visiting Lostock Hall Friendship Center get the best service.  I must thank all of the staff and volunteers for their support.'

This approach just goes to show there is no 'we' in 'food'.
