£20,402 pro rata per annum, 16 hours per week, based in Arkwright House, Preston, PR1 3XT
South Ribble Voluntary, Community and Fair Sector (VCFS) Network has been established to provide a forum for local organisations and groups to champion the work of the sector and collaborate on key initiatives taking place at a local, borough and county level. Led by the sector, the Network is made up of organisations of all sizes who came together in response to the changing face of local representation.
The Network is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and this post will be hosted by Age Concern Central Lancashire on behalf of South Ribble VCFS Network.
We are looking for a self motivated and well organised individual who has excellent interpersonal skills and will understand and be inspired by the challenges of ensuring effective communication and engagement with member organisations. With a proven background in communication and engagement, you will be able to work on your own initiative, facilitating events and engagement and demonstrating outcomes.
This role seeks to support South VCFS Network and ensure it achieves its aim of strengthening the voluntary, community and faith sector; supporting sustainable delivery and creating resilient communities.
