Partnership Development Manager

£27,775 per annum, 36 hours per week

Age Concern Central Lancashire is part of a consortium delivering the Lancashire Wellbeing Service, a free service offering short-term practical support for Lancashire residents of all ages who may be struggling with issues affecting their happiness and health.

We are looking for an experienced networker and go-getter to join us in:

  • forging key strategic partnerships;
  • managing relationships at all levels, including Board;
  • leading on promotional and marketing activities; and
  • delivering a Stakeholder Engagement Plan.  

Your role will be key in helping to increase the profile of the Lancashire Wellbeing Service and to strengthen its position within emerging health and social care strategies / structures across Lancashire, enabling growth and recognition for the Service.

You will manage a budget and lead a team of three Partnership and Engagement Workers.  You will report to and support the work of the Joint Management Board, reporting regularly on partnership activity.

In this varied and interesting role you will represent the Lancashire Wellbeing Service in a professional manner, utilising effective communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to develop rapport and achieve good outcomes / establish future pathways.  You will be motivated and creative with the ability to identify opportunities and achieve positive and constructive solutions.  You will have an engaging presentation style and excellent report writing skills.  Knowledge and understanding of the health and social care sector is desirable.

Due to the need to travel around the area and attend meetings, a driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.
