Eye Opening LGBT Training!

Age Concern's Big Lottery funded 'Older and Out' LGBT awareness training was recently delivered to Four Seasons Health Care staff.

Four Seasons have 300 care settings across the UK and 100 of their North West staff recently attended the session in Wigan.  The feedback has been really impressive as illustrated by Hannah Prescott's (Residential Experience Manager) statement 'I had a really good time and have already had feedback and emails from managers saying how they will make their homes more LGBT friendly.'

Feedback also included, 'the whole experience has opened my eyes and changed my views on LGBT issues.  It will make me work with and understand the LGBT community in a very different way.'

The funding for the free training ends in September 2017 but due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback to date Age Concern will continue to deliver the training at a competitive fee.
